Aunt Rebekah's birthday!

The yummy cake(s) for Ella! Debi made the big cupcake and Oma (Gale) made all the pretty little ones. They were all great!!

Happy first Birthday, Ella!!

We had a great party for Ella in our backyard. She was so excited, and lots of family came to celebrate!

Ella must have known that it was her birthday, because she played so hard all morning at church and then when we got home that she fell asleep during lunch.

Ella went through a stage where this was her favorite face to make. She makes a perfect little "o" with her mouth and widens her eyes like she is surprised. We love it! She thinks its the best when you make the same face back at her!
Ella is very busy these days, shes very fast at moving around the house and is into everything! She loves playing with Mugsy, and finding any kind of paper that she can to shred and then try to eat! She's crawling and climbing and doesn't seem to interested in trying to walk, which is ok by us! She's a very big girl and we can't believe in just a few months she'll be a year old!

Sweet baby Ella is 8 months old today! She is cuter, sweeter, and funner than ever!
Ella has taken her time crawling. She's "scooted" on her bottom and wiggled her way around until she is finally commando-style crawling. She is also trying to pull up on things and trying to stand from the floor. She loves to stand next to the ottoman and play, it makes her feel like a big girl!
Ella is currently in love with her baths, picking Daddy's pens out of his pocket and jamming on Mema's piano. She also creates quite a scene at church when she sings so loud! Ella is constantly tapping her foot or hand on whatever is near her, she must hear her own internal music! We are having so much fun watching her grow (so fast!) and are loving being back at home with our very own house to play in.
